Instead of 18, now you only get 8 points. If you have more points of deadwood than your opponent after you knock, you get undercut and your opponent gets the points plus 25 bonus points! In Grand Gin Rummy, you also get 15 bonus points just for winning a hand.

For easy reading - we have based these rules on a 2 player game of Gin Rummy but the same concept applies in a 3 or 4 player game.
